Zapier Features

⚡ Create SMS (Action)

Automatically sends an outbound text message from your TextBetter text-enabled number. Any replies are routed to the TextBetter paired email. 

⚡ Receive Message (Trigger,  Optional)

Starts a Zapier workflow when your TextBetter number receives a new SMS or MMS message. Incoming messages still route to the TextBetter paired email inbox.

How This Works with Email to Text

Zapier and Email to Text can use the same text-enabled telephone number.

This means:

  • Your team can keep texting from email
  • Zapier can send automated texts from the same number
  • Incoming replies still route to the paired email inbox
  • Incoming replies can also trigger Zapier workflows, if configured

Before You Begin

Before connecting TextBetter in Zapier, your account and text-enabled telephone number(s) must first be configured for Zapier functionality by the TextBetter team.

Email TextBetter Support to request:

  • An API key
  • Zapier access for your account
  • Zapier configuration for your text-enabled number(s)

Important: Backend configuration is required before your Zapier connection can be completed. If you try to connect before setup is complete, you will receive an error message.
