Instructions for Enterprise Set-Up (Step 1)

If you are a Partner/Reseller, you will start the process in the Partner portal by inviting the Microsoft Enterprise who will be your business customer to build the connection.

1. Create Enterprise

  • In the Service portal, You can create a new Enterprise customer by clicking Add Enterprise in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
  • Input an internal labeling name for the Enterprise (the name that will show up in the portal). Note: The Enterprise name should have a minimum length of 5 and a maximum length of 50 characters.

2. Add Microsoft Enterprise Global Administrator

  • Add the email address of the person who controls the Microsoft Enterprise Global Administrator** for your business customer.

Admin Email ID

**The Microsoft Office Global Administrator is the highest level of administrative credentials in Office 365 administration. It is required to initially register with all 3rd party Microsoft applications including this one and to install the Teams Application. It can be used for the entire setup process or this can be delegated to another User with Teams Service Admin and Skype for Business Admin rights.

3. Request Consent

  • Specify a user limit for the enterprise. This limit can be edited in the future as well, though, so estimating low is mostly harmless. It is recommended to leave this field blank; doing so will simply create an enterprise with unlimited license availability.
  • Select Request Consent for Enterprise. The enterprise admin will be presented with an Action Item to Grant Consent. You can monitor the status from the “Edit Enterprise” screen and on the dashboard under Enterprise Admin Action Items.

Consent for Partners

  • Leave billing limit blank.
  • Select US East and US West under SBC Region.
  • Select SMS under services.
  • Click Submit when you have completed the form. Once done, the Enterprise Admin will receive an email notification.  See Sample Email Notification below.
