# Salesforce CRM - Integration Overview

## The Salesforce integration automatically populates contact details from the connected Salesforce instance, and creates "Notes" for the Contacts with the contents of each message sent/received.

#### Installation Methods

1. Click the "Install" button on the Salesforce integration.
2. Next, choose "Salesforce" from the dropdown.
3. Click the “Click to install” button to launch the sign-in page to authenticate and authorize the app with Salesforce.
4. Accept the permissions on Salesforce pop-up.
5. You will be redirected back to the application where the installation will complete.

> **Note:** Contacts will begin synchronizing after the sending or receipt of a message and messages will be stored as notes after a contact has been linked from the CRM.
