Image Requirements for Receiving Picture Messages
When picture messages are delivered over the standard carrier MMS network, carriers enforce file size limits. If an image exceeds the carrier’s size limit, it may be compressed, delayed, or fail to deliver.
For best results, we recommend keeping image files under 1MB to ensure consistent cross-carrier delivery.
Current carrier limits are:
-
AT&T: 1MB maximum
-
Verizon: 1MB maximum
-
T-Mobile: 1.5MB maximum
- Compatible File Types: .gif, .jpg, .jpeg, .jpe, .bmp, dib,.jfif, PDF
