Guidelines for message content

TextBetter users are not permitted to send text messages containing Disallowed Content or Prohibited Keywords

When selecting content to include in text messages, please remember that TextBetter users are prohibited from sending 'Disallowed Content' and any word included on our list of Prohibited Keywords. 

Additionally, TextBetter reserves the right to block or strip content from messages containing any of the words included in our prohibited keywords list, prior to delivering them to a carrier network, and/or append message content with the Opt-out keyword “Stop” as required by wireless carrier code of conduct and the CTIA Messaging Principals & Best Practices.

Disallowed Content

• High-Risk Financial Services: Payday Loans, Non-Direct Lenders, Debt Collection
• Debt Forgiveness:  Debt Consolidation, Debt Consolidation,  Debt Reduction, Credit Repair Program 

• Illegal Substances: Cannabis, CBD, or Hemp, Illegal Prescriptions. Note: even if the substance is legal in the state of business, must be legal across all 50 states 

• Work Investment Opportunities: Work from Home Programs: Job Alerts from 3rd Party Recruiting Firms: Risk Investment Opportunities
• Other: Gambling, Any other illegal content, Lead generation indicates the sharing of collected information with third parties, Explicit content
